Smash by The Offspring! Also from the same album as the previous post "Self Esteem". A revolutionary song I used to hear when I was younger. You can find the lyrics here. Its a longer version just like the one that came out at the original disc it has a bonus in the last minutes...an instrumental version of "Come Out and Play". Sometimes I feel like I wanna scream that: "I just want to be who I want to be  Guess that's hard for others to see"! Simple lines but soooo true...I really like the verse:

Big words of course...I wish I could do whatever I wanted but either we like it or not we do conform to some of societies rules. I really get that feeling though when I'm in a "trendy place" where you see different copies of persons and behaviours. It used to annoy me in the past...now it makes me laugh how some people's minds can be so narrow. Too much poison for tonight :P. "SMASH"!! Enjoy!

Can't Stop by Red Hot Chili Peppers! A really good one from that band! You can find the lyrics here...you should read them line by line I really like them...it looks like it jumps from one point to the other kind of like Song2 from Blur! I love the line "Can't stop the gods from engineering Feel no need for any interfering" ;). I also like the refrain:

2Wicky by Hooverphonic! I love the sound of this song...a very good specimen of trip hop music with slow beat and electronic variations. Not much to say about the lyrics just that Liesje Sadonius has a magnificent voice and good looks as you can see from the video ;). Enjoy!

Fake Plastic Trees

Got stuck with Radiohead now...Fake Plastic Trees...You can find the lyrics here. It really "wears me out" when I try to be a "plastic man". Society is defining borders (sometimes too strict) for what behaviour is good/acceptable and for who is good looking or not. It is in our nature to want to be accepted, popular, desirable but we shouldn't forget who we are in the end. I love the lines:

For girls in the eighties...so sad sometimes...I am not judging anyone  (I really don't know how I'm gonna react when and if I reach my eighties) but I believe that the best thing to do is accept that it's absolutely normal and natural to grow old. Enjoy...
